ACoP9 Workshop

The ninth American Conference on Pharmacometrics (ACoP9), will be be held October 7th to 10th, 2018, at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort near San Diego, CA. ACoP is the annual scientific meeting of the International Society of Pharmacometrics (ISoP).

User Interface Development & Deployment Options for Shiny Pharmacometric Applications

This half-day course will provide instruction for building user interfaces for shiny pharmacometric applications and offering several deployment options for communication. The session will step through the process of building, visualizing, and testing visualizations that are focused on communications of results. The goal of the course is to provide a thorough workflow in R and Shiny that can be used within your organization. Case studies on real deployments will be discussed.

Workshop Time: Thursday, October 11th 8AM to 12PM.

Workshop Location: The workshop will be held at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort near San Diego, CA, US, which is the venue for the ACoP9 meeting.

Materials Provided: Course slides, data and code for all examples, online access to a cloud-based compute server on which the software used in the course is installed

Workshop Fee: This half day course is free however there are only 40 seats available – first come first served.

Registration: This is a pre-meeting workshop that requires registering for the ACoP 2018 meeting. Please register ASAP in view of the limited course capacity.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience R and use of RStudio. Some shiny package experience is also helpful but not necessary.
  • Participants should bring a laptop that has access the internet via Wi-Fi.
